Hitch mounted bike carriers offer similar performance as roof mounted systems without the added effort of lifting your ride all the way up onto the roof. They offer low-level access to up to five bikes and be removed or installed in a matter of minutes. Many systems even feature designs that pivot to the side, enabling access to the rear hatch or trunk. Hitch mounted racks don’t present any of the height clearance issues that roof mounted systems can face, such as garage entrances, and can be installed on any vehicle with a tow hitch.
