A half pack like this comes is used for applications where the front a rear load bars will not be mounted to the vehicle in the same way. A good example is a pick-up truck where the rear bar might be mounted to the vehicle with a bed-mounted solution, and the front bar to the cab. The Thule 4802 Traverse Foot Half Pack is replacing the 4002XT Foot Half Pack moving forward. This package includes 2 Thule 480 Traverse Feet, hardware and 2 load bar end caps. To make a complete system, you will also need one Thule load bar, and the Thule Traverse Fit Kit specified for your vehicle.
