Thule has made it even easier to get out and enjoy the lakes and rivers around us with their load assisting watersport rack, the 897XT Hullavator. The Thule 897XT Hullavator reduces the lift height for loading and unloading by 40”, so there’s no reaching to the top of the vehicle to secure your kayak; instead you’re able to strap it down right in front of you. Once your kayak is secured, the Hullavator uses gas assist shocks to help lift the boat up and onto the roof. The Thule 897XT Hullavator can accommodate kayaks up to 36” wide and 100 lbs, all the while keeping them protected with integrated padded support. One of the great features of the Thule 897XT Hullavator is that it only occupies about 25” of load bar space, giving you room for other Thule carriers, and even cargo boxes as well. The Hullavator includes everything you need to carry one kayak, including all mounting hardware and load straps, and for added security, it can be locked with two of Thule’s One Key System locking cores, sold separately. Fits Thule classic square, Rapid Aero, Xsporter, and round load bars.
