The 884 Roll Model from Thule is a great, affordable, load-assist kayak carrier. It combines the ease of Thule’s Roller Coaster saddles in the rear with the benefits of their Glide and Set saddles in the front. The integrated roller in the rear helps you slide your kayak in easily while the saddles in the rear center and guide it into the front saddles. Once loaded, the four touch-points provide padded support that conforms to the hull of your boat for excellent carrying stability. The Roll Model will accommodate kayaks up to 36” wide and 75lbs, and you can install up to two Roll Model carriers on one vehicle. Included is everything needed to carry one kayak: two load straps with padded buckles and two ratcheting bow/ stern straps. The Roll Model fits only classic square Thule load bars.
