The Thule 558P Pivoting Tandem bike carrier is the quickest and easiest carrier for tandem bikes. The highlight of the 558P is the pivoting feature, which allows one person to easily load a tandem into the carrier, which was formerly a formidable task. The 558P Pivoting Tandem Carrier accommodates tandems and recumbent bikes with a 75” extruded aluminum wheel tray and stainless steel hardware. For added convenience, the rear wheel tray can be removed for trunk hatch clearance and carrying regular bikes, and the included wheel straps even work with high profile rims. Like all of Thule’s roof mounted bike carriers, the 558P Pivoting Tandem carrier fits both Thule and round load bars.
